Over 35 student groups and hundreds of independent dancers filed into Norris University Center on Tuesday, Oct. 20 and Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009 to register for Dance Marathon, to be held March 5, 6, and 7, 2010. For the second year in a row, over 1,000 dancers registered for DM 2010!
This year, Dance Marathon has adopted a digital registration system, where dancers can fill out their forms online along with bringing a printed waiver. Dance Marathon is moving towards a paperless registration system, which will provide a more convenient and efficient registration process for dancers and group heads. More than 1,400 students are participating in DM 2010 as dancers or committee members! Organizers predict that the move to paperless registration has led to this increased participation.
